This site has been set up to campaign for recognition of the Graduate Teacher Programme as a legitimate teaching qualification in Australia and other countries. It has been established by a community of well-qualified and capable GTPs who are unable to follow their vocation outside the UK.  Through the information, articles and discussion in this site, we hope to promote the Graduate Teacher Programme as a challenging hands-on route to teaching that produces excellent classroom practitioners who have far more classroom hours and superior experience of working in a school environment as Newly Qualified Teachers.
